A little about me

Hi, I’m Carolynn—thanks so much for stopping by. I’m so glad you’re here, and I’d love to help you bring the quilt you’ve been envisioning to life.
I honestly can’t remember a time when I wasn’t sewing. Growing up, fabric was part of everyday life—our gift bags were handmade, and there was always something to sew for holidays, birthdays, or baby showers. My mom started quilting when I was eight years old, I quickly became her pattern-picker, dreaming up quilts I wanted her to make for me. That list grew so long she eventually told me, “No more—you’ll have to make your own.”
Challenge accepted.

By the age of 13, I had made my very first quilt, and I was completely hooked. I kept quilting, using the old string-and-knot method—time-consuming and labor-intensive, but absolutely worth it. During college, my mom and her quilting friends—known as The Screamers for their joyful, nonstop chatter— invested in a longarm frame with a Singer machine. I remember coming home and trying it for the first time. It wasn’t fancy, but it was fun—and incredibly efficient. Quilting a top in half the time felt like magic, and I couldn’t get enough of it.

A few years later, I started attending quilt camp with my mom and officially met The Screamers. One rule: what happens at quilt camp stays at quilt camp! After more than 15 years of sewing alongside them, I can honestly say these women are not just quilting friends—they’re mentors, teachers, life coaches, and some of the most inspiring people I know. As our skills grew, we upgraded to a Handi Quilter longarm with stitch regulation, and wow—what a difference. I thought I loved longarm quilting before, but that machine truly spoiled me. I’ve now been longarm quilting for over 15 years, and I’m thrilled to own my own Bernina Q24. Being able to provide professional longarm quilting services and help others finish their quilts is something I’m truly passionate about.
I can’t wait to work with you and be part of your quilting journey.
