Preparing your quilt
Please label both your quilt top and backing fabric. If either fabric has a directional print, be sure to clearly indicate the top. Your backing must be at least 8–10 inches larger than your quilt top to allow for proper loading on the longarm. The top and bottom edges of the backing should be straight and even to ensure it loads correctly. Because it is almost impossible to center a quilt exactly during the quilting process, please keep this in mind when choosing your backing fabric. The same thread color will be used for both the front and back of your quilt.
